Purpose and Mechanism
The H. pylori antibody rapid test is used for detecting H. pylori-specific antibodies in whole blood/serum/plasma. H. pylori is a bacterium that causes gastrointestinal diseases such as ulcers and gastritis and is very commonly found in gastric cancer patients. Our H. pylori test card operates on the principle of the double-antigen sandwich immunoassay technique. During testing, the specimen is initially filled into the sample well using a dropper. Then the specimen will move across the membrane with the help of capillary action. If the sample contains H. pylori-specific antibodies, then they will bind to the H. pylori conjugates on the membrane. The At-Ag complex will then bind to the pre-coated antigens and will form a visible line.
